The solid cabinets are manufactured from MDF for maximum rigidity and reduced colouration and come in a Black Effect finish. With 2 drive units, the Gale Gold Monitor is a proper small speaker. The Gale Gold Monitors are carefully crafted with a chamfered front panel and even feature gold-plated bi-wirable 4mm binding posts. KEY FEATURES: Sensitivity (dB) - 88 The higher the figure the easier it is to drive - meaning that a less powerful amp may be used. Impedance (ohms) - 6 Resistance. A standard figure is 8 ohm.
